While studying Merchandising at Chamberlain College in Boston I would look into the windows of the design student’s classrooms. I loved the atmosphere, the fabrics and all the tools they were using and began my journey into the world of design and construction of bridal and formal wear.
After graduation, I attended the American University in London where I studied Fashion Design. It was one of the most cherished times in my life. I naturally gravitated to formal design, as I loved the fantasy and beauty of the fabrics and design concepts. After returning home I worked in the Bridal Industry where I developed and honed my skills. I continued my education in Costume Design at the School of Fashion Design at Brandeis University in Boston.
Opening a small custom Bridal Design Studio in Waltham, MA was the most rewarding experience that I had. I loved designing and making wedding dresses and veils for brides and being part of the most special day in their lives. I expanded my line designing and creating dresses for the entire wedding parties and their families. Over time life took me in many directions building on who I am today. I always say that everything you chose to do in life, even if it doesn't work out is a building block for what's to come. All along I've continued to nurture my creative passion. I took a break to have my own family and now it is time for me to revive my dream and restart my formal wear business.
Using my experience and talent in making a bride feel special on her wedding day, or a young woman going to her prom look and feel beautiful is my mission. My business is about making that possible for everyone. I am uniquely qualified to consult you in bridal design, formal wear selection and accessories as well as advising you about alterations required.
